Boruto is a spin-off and a sequel to Kishimoto’s Naruto, which follows the exploits of Naruto Uzumaki’s son, Boruto Uzumaki, and his ninja team. Boruto originated from Shueisha’s proposal to Kishimoto on making a sequel to Naruto.
